Refund policy

Since ensuring that our customers are satisfied is our first concern, we always ask that they let us know if there is a problem with any of our products, and we will do all in our power to address it.

Exchanges

Have you received something that is inappropriate or doesn't fit? No worries, we've made it as simple as possible with our exchanges and returns policies.

Most things that arrive in the wrong size or color can be exchanged or reimbursed, but personalized or custom-made items cannot be done so unless there is a manufacturer's defect, in which case you may want to explore our "love it or burn it" policy.
  • Please be aware that after an order is finalized, it cannot be canceled for items that are obviously customized or that are manufactured to your specifications. Unless they are defective or were manufactured using the wrong dimensions, these products cannot be returned.
  • Getting in touch with us, buying the replacement things in a fresh order, and returning the unwanted items for a refund is the quickest and most straightforward method of handling your exchange.
  • It is your responsibility to give us the chance to fix, replace, or alter any defective or inaccurate merchandise before requesting a refund.
  • Returning items without prior authorization is not permitted. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  • Before returning, refunding, or exchanging an item, please contact us. Returns that are not approved will not be accepted for exchange or credit.
  • We will ship the replacements as soon as we get your returned products.
    Depending on when the products are returned to us and how long it takes to complete the customized orders, this often takes a few days to a week or two.

Cancellation Process:

Within two days of making their order, customers may cancel without giving a reason. Please use the information on our website to get in touch with our support staff in order to cancel. The restocking charge will be subtracted after two days. We regret to notify you that cancellations are not available once the purchase has been sent.

Overseas

In order to exchange an item, kindly buy a replacement item in a fresh order, return the inappropriate products, and receive a refund.

Combine Shipping

If you're considering an exchange, keep in mind that you can pay postage on the combined order and combine the replacement item with any other things you may want to buy.

Returns

Note that once a product is in production, it cannot be cancelled or returned. This includes goods manufactured to your specifications or explicitly customized. You can only return these goods if they are defective or do not fit the measurements you supplied.

Please email support@scottishkiltjacket.com with the following details if you would like to return an item for a refund:
  • Order number for you.
  • The reason for the item's return.
  • Does the item appear to be defective in any way?

Note:

  • Within 30 days of receiving their purchase, buyers must notify sellers or return items (this deadline is extended to 30 days after Christmas when buying presents for Christmas).
  • Any returned items must be delivered to us in acceptable condition, and that is the buyer's duty.
  • Please make sure that all tags, labels, and bags are intact and connected.
  • Please make sure that any returned products are free of pet hair and odor, are folded as neatly as possible, and are delivered in safe, protective packaging in order to expedite the exchange or refund process and reduce processing time.
  • We work hard to make sure the products get to you in excellent shape, therefore, we would greatly appreciate it if you could do the same for us.
  • In order to clear customs without incurring additional fees, buyers returning products from outside the USA must clearly indicate on the outside of the box and on any customs papers that the items are "returned goods."

Important Notice for Canadian Customers

As mandated by Canadian legislation, we would like to notify our Canadian clients that customs duties may be applicable to your orders. Scottish Kilt Jacket is not accountable for these fees; instead, the consumer is in charge of them. It is advisable to get in touch with your local customs office for comprehensive information.
